Excellent birthday party
We recently celebrated our 9-year-old and 11-year-old's birthday party at Tinside, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we first enquired, Paul was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. He took the time to reassure me every step of the way, even offering contingency plans in case the weather wasn't on our side. Paul suggested the children enjoy their swim first, followed by party food and celebrations in the Soundbar afterwards – and it worked perfectly. Paul also arranged a brilliant party host, who was lovely with the children. He came prepared with games, in the end the children were having so much fun we didn’t use them as they were all just loving it. What impressed us even more was that Paul came in on the day, despite it not being one of his working days, just to make sure everything was running smoothly and that we were happy. Every member of staff at Tinside was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The children had 90 minutes in the pool, which they absolutely loved. As some children got out earlier than others, we opened the buffet, allowing them to move from the pool into the Soundbar at their own pace. This worked really well and avoided everyone rushing for food at the same time. The room was the perfect space for the party, with music playing, plenty of dancing, and, of course, the birthday cake to finish the celebrations. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better venue. Tinside exceeded all of our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a fun, well-organised, and stress-free children's party. Lifeguards are very whistle happy, I know they have a job to do but not being able to take your phone in the pool for pictures of your own choice, or to take an inflatable into the deep end is a bit of a joke, you should be able to accompanied by an adult, other then the moans and groans very nice pool, pool temperature was lovely and very reasonably priced well worth it, will definitely go back, one more thing parking prices are absolute joke 11.60. for 4 hours 🤢

Wonderful experience
We like to visit the lido whilst in Plymouth. Previously it was good when Everyone Active ran it. It has really improved since Plymouth Active took over. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful.Changing rooms were clean What impressed me was the standard of lifeguarding. Rotations were quick and no chatting amongst staff. I thought the lifeguards were switched on and observant.All staff were friendly and professional. Felt very safe in the water.We had 3 visits during our stay .

Lovely cuppa
We stopped by on sunday 28th Jan 2026 and was greeted with a lovely smile. We ordered two hot drink and a puppucinno. Lovely view. Very friendly and clean. The only downside is the short, smelly covered walk to the cafe.

Amazing experience
Visited with family and friends for the first time and had a fantastic time. We were lucky with the weather which helped but the water is crystal clear and the facilities are great. Amazing views and strict visitor limits mean there is plenty of space even on August bank holiday

Had a lovely swim first thing this morning! Booked online, friendly welcome from the young woman on reception and changing rooms were clean with a locker for 20p.
